LABORATORY TEST RESULTS AND PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS
Our water purification system has been tested by independent laboratories.
The analyses were carried out by the Institut Biotechnologique IBIB and Biolineacom.
Specific tests were carried out for total coliforms, E. coli ß-glucuronidasa positive, enterococci, Clostridium spores, odour, colour, turbidity, pH, conductivity at 20°C, all dissolved solids, Ammonium (NH4), Nitrite (NO2), Nitrate (NO3), Bicarbonate (HCO3), Total Alkalinity (TAC), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Total Hardness, Free Chlorine, Langelier Index.
The filters have passed the tests in all respects, you can consult the documents in the "download" tab.
All SYR products are certified according to the ISO 9001 quality management system.
INSTALLATION AND CONTENTS OF THIS 4 IN 1 FILTER KIT
The pack is supplied complete and ready to install and contains everything you need to install it:
- the filter complete with its filter cartridge
- 2 fittings to screw onto the filter to connect to the 1/4 (6.2mm) tube
- 2 metres of hose
You will only need to provide the T-connection system to supply the filter with cold water if you do not have one. (see options further down this page).
Installing the water purifier is fairly straightforward, and can be done easily by a DIY enthusiast without the need to solder.
Simply connect it to the cold water supply to your tap using our T-fitting, a self-drilling tap or other suitable connection for 1/4" (6.2mm) pipe.
Our Purifier is easy to install under a sink.
How the 4-in-1 filter works

We're offering you the world's only backwashable filter to date, with 4 levels of filtration in the same cartridge. Firstly, the water is treated by a double filtration system that stops macro-molecules. This is followed by a third filtration stage using high-density activated carbon, which retains harmful pollutants such as heavy metals, drug residues and pesticides. A 4th stage of filtration at 0.01 microns thanks to the ultrafiltration membrane will definitively block the way to viruses, bacteria, fungi and others...
So you can be sure that the water you drink will be free from viruses, bacteria, pesticides and medicinal residues.
Unlike osmosis, this process does not alter the natural balance of the water and does not lead to over-consumption. Like all our solutions, this water treatment process is reliable, environmentally friendly, economical and easy to use.
This system is a great replacement for an osmosis system!
Although osmosis systems are highly efficient, they take up a lot more space and need to be drained. They consume far more filter cartridges and, above all, water!
Even with a very good osmosis system, one litre of purified water means 3 litres of water being discharged into the environment, which should not even be used for plants, as it is loaded with all the undesirable elements of the water that has been purified!
For quality water without constraints, we recommend this 4-stage filter.

- Hello, I'd like some information about your 4-stage water filtration system. If I understand correctly, once the 7500 litres have been used, you'll need to buy a complete unit again, or can you only change the cartridge?
- Dear customer,
the 7500 litres will be used in around 2 - 3 years for 4 people (7 litres per day x 365 days x 3 years = 7665 litres)
You'll need to replace the cartridge at that point, which costs around 180 euros, depending on price variations, and postage is free.
- Hello, could you tell us more about the manual backwashing system, how often and for how long? Our answer: backwashing can be carried out once every 2-3 months using 1 litre of rinse water.
To do this, simply reverse the tap at the top of the filter and drain it from the bottom.
It's not compulsory, but it will extend the life of your filter.
You'll feel the need to change it when you smell and taste chlorine again (it treats chlorine).)

After taking a TDS reading of the purified water, I was surprised to see that the purified water was almost identical to the unpurified water.Does this work then?
Yes, because a TDS meter measures Total Dissolved Solids, which are simply minerals dissolved in ionic form. A TDS measurement does not measure the content of biological and chemical contaminants. Our purifier is designed to retain the beneficial minerals in the water but extract undesirable heavy metals such as lead and mercury as well as sedimentary minerals such as iron oxide and aluminium...
The difference in taste between the water before passing through the filter and afterwards leaves no doubt as to the beneficial action of the filter. The taste of chlorine and other substances disappears completely. The taste of chlorine and other substances disappears completely.

The answer: For limescale, you can opt for the Suprion solution + purifier for chlorine. At the start of your installation you can fit a double water filter which will improve the quality of your water by treating sediment as well as some of the heavy metals, chlorine etc.
