The FLAR cartridge is filled with a highly absorbent NSF-approved iron-based medium designed for the selective removal of arsenic and fluoride. It is used in reverse osmosis systems and drinking water filter holders.
FLAR effectively reduces arsenic levels (below 10 μg/L) without affecting the chemical composition of the treated water.
Independent laboratory tests have confirmed its effectiveness in removing fluorides and heavy metals.
Arsenic is a common component of natural water. Consumption of water containing arsenic compounds causes a variety of health problems, including skin lesions, hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular problems.
