LABORATORY TEST RESULTS AND PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS
Our water purification system has been tested by independent laboratories.
The analyses were carried out by the Institut Biotechnologique IBIB and Biolineacom.
Specific tests were carried out for total coliforms, E. coli ß-glucuronidasa positive, enterococci, Clostridium spores, odour, colour, turbidity, pH, conductivity at 20°C, all dissolved solids, Ammonium (NH4), Nitrite (NO2), Nitrate (NO3), Bicarbonate (HCO3), Total Alkalinity (TAC), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Total Hardness, Free Chlorine, Langelier Index.
The filters have passed the tests in all respects, you can consult the documents in the "download" tab.
All SYR products are certified under the ISO 9001 quality management system.
INSTALLATION AND CONTENTS OF THIS 4 IN 1 FILTER KIT
The pack is supplied complete and ready to install and contains everything you need to install it:
- the filter complete with filter cartridge
- 2 fittings to screw onto the filter to connect to the 1/4 (6,2mm)
- 2 metres of hose
- 1 additional 1-way tap
If you don't have a T-connector, all you need is the T-connector to supply cold water to the filter (see options below). (See options further down this page).
Installing the water purifier is fairly straightforward, and can be done easily by a DIY enthusiast without the need for soldering.
All you need to do is connect it to the cold water supply to your tap using our T-fitting, a self-drilling tap or another suitable connection for 1/4" (6.2mm) pipe.
The Purifier Pack is easy to install under a sink.

The only backwashable filter in the world to date to achieve 4 levels of filtration in the same filter cartridge:
- the water will be treated by an initial filtration that will stop the largest elements
- another finer mesh filter will trap the macro-molecules.
- high-density activated carbon filtration to retain harmful pollutants such as heavy metals, drug residues and pesticides.
- filtration at 0.01 microns thanks to the ultrafiltration membrane, which will definitively block the path of viruses, bacteria, fungi and others...free from viruses, bacteria, pesticides and drug residues.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE
system
.filtration finesse limits the flow rate, it only takes 25 seconds to obtain 1 litre of purified water

Changing the cartridge: the 7500 litres will be used in about 2 - 3 years for 4 people (7 litres per day x 365 days x 3 years = 7665 litres)
It will need to be replaced when the flow rate becomes very low or when you smell the taste and smell of chlorine again.
Backwashing can be carried out once every 2-3 months using 1 litre of rinse water.
Does this work then?
Yes, because a TDS meter measures Total Dissolved Solids, which are simply minerals dissolved in ionic form. A TDS measurement does not measure the content of biological and chemical contaminants. Our purifier is designed to retain the beneficial minerals in the water but extract undesirable heavy metals such as lead and mercury as well as sedimentary minerals such as iron oxide and aluminium...
The difference in taste between the water before passing through the filter and afterwards leaves no doubt as to the beneficial action of the filter. The taste of chlorine and other substances disappears completely. The taste of chlorine and other substances disappears completely.

For limescale, you can opt for the Biopur habitat magnetic solution or Suprion + purifier for chlorine. At the start of your installation, you can install a double water filter that will remove the largest impurities from your water, treating sediments as well as some of the heavy metals, chlorine, etc.
The advantage of the Suprion over the magnetic system is that it is curative while offering good value for money.
This system is a great replacement for an osmosis machine!
Although highly efficient, reverse osmosis systems take up a lot more space and need to be fitted with a drain. They consume far more filter cartridges and, above all, water!
Even with a very good osmosis system, one litre of purified water means 3 litres of water being discharged into the environment, which should not even be used for plants, as it contains all the undesirable elements of the water that has been purified!
We recommend this 4-stage filter for high quality, stress-free water.
